The Personalized Project Course is designed for students

Students will work with their teacher to explore subject matter and mediums that they love.

As an exploration of art history and practical skills in drawing, ceramics, and storytelling, this class is designed to enhance creativity, technical skills, and critical thinking.
This class nurtures well-rounded artists who express themselves across various mediums.
Understand the historical and theoretical context of their creations, students apply their knowledge and creativity in both traditional and new art forms.

This learning experience is tailored to each student's interests and goals, and enhances technical skills through goal-oriented workshops.
Students are encouraged to express their artistic voices and innovation.
Through guided sessions and self-reflection, this course fosters analytical thinking and expression.
As a supportive group of student-artists grows, members share and learn from each other to foster collaboration.
Initially, the teacher guides project concepts, focusing on the implementation of technical methods and the use of the right materials and tools.
Later, the focus shifts to the free-flowing practice of artistic skills, encouraging creative exploration and personal expression.
Finally, through targeted and constructive feedback, students are encouraged to refine their work and apply skills they have learned.

In the program
Students will engage in activities focused on specific elements of art in a "learn by doing" atmosphere.
Plan a personal project by outlining goals, identify the art elements they wish to explore and select mediums they plan to use.
Develop a project theme or narrative based on personal inspiration, techniques, and materials.
Teachers will demonstrate specific techniques or materials that students will incorporate into their personalized project.
Apply techniques and concepts through iterative cycles of creation, review, and revision.
Present work-in-progress to the class for teacher critique. This session is built on a trusting environment where students can share ideas, discuss their projects, and learn from the group.
Complete the project and prepare a final presentation showcasing their work. Reflect on the creative process, challenges encountered, and how those challenges were overcome.
